Cow Parade
Brand Identity: Community EventBackground: CowParade© is the largest and most popular public art event in the world, featuring life-size reinforced fibreglass cows that are painted by local artists and community groups and displayed throughout public places. It has taken place in South America, Asia, Europe and the USA. CowParade© came to Northern Ireland promising a festival of fun, art and creativity.
Our solution: Our keywords that best described what CowParade was all about, included: quirky; creative; culture; carnival and community. In our search for a theme that would visually project the multiple ingredients of CowParade, we researched Victorian ephemera – including circus imagery – and deemed it to be outrageous, arresting and unusual. Graphic elements and atmospheric collages, mingling colourful cows and comical Victorian characters, created a lively graphic styling that portrays the CowParadeNI brand: a colourful extravaganza of quirkiness and creativity. All with an outlandish sense of humour of course.
